Napoleon Medal – Battle of Iena ( also spelled Jena ) , took place in what is today’s Germany between Napoleonic forces and those under the command of Frederick William (Friedrich Wilhelm) III with a decisive victory for the French, that led to the ending of feudalism in Prussia. German philosopher Hegel, apparently completed his most important work in at the University of Jena while this battle raged. Showing an exciting scene of cavalry in a full rout with swords drawn. Reverse depicts the war map with date 14 October 1806.
