PROVISIONAL MONEY of the MEXICAN REVOLUTION: SONORA SET of 2 (25 & 50 CENTAVOS) SMALL SIZED NOTES with PORTRAITS DATED 1915

We find ourselves in the Middle of the Mexican Revolution (1910-1920) with the likes of Porfirio Diaz who grabbed power in 1867 and didn’t let go until 1911. Among the revolutionaries, there are the great men of modern Mexico, namely Carranza, Zapata & Pancho Villa. By 1914 General Carranza had already entered Mexico City when the order was given to issue new paper money of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Mexico.
