MARCH 1776 NEW YORK HALF ( SPANISH MILLED ) DOLLAR – PAPER BREAK ERROR CIRC USED

Description

1776 NEW YORK HALF ( SPANISH MILLED ) DOLLAR  /  LATIN POSTERITATE= POSTERITY with a HAND PLANTING a TREE.

Center folded with a split, but because of the high rag content paper, it’s not easily seen. There are several scrapes, a couple of pinholes, a spot atop the tree etc with a paper crease error cutting thru one of the L’s in DOLLAR ( this is not on other examples of this same note). Signatures are virtually invisible, but if I were to bet they’d probably be R. I. Roosevelt & Cornelius Ray.
